Happy Monday September 14, 2020!
Welcome to our first blog entry of the year! When I say "our" I mean, I write the blog with my students!

Please make sure your child has a water bottle and outdoor shoes each day.
Today in room 5:
After our usual catch up/reading time to start the day, followed by calendar we practiced writing the letter B and words that start with B. Grade 2's are practicing sounding out their pictures they draw and writing using attempted spelling.
Room 5 played outside for both of our recesses. Once at the playground (AM) and once at the soccer field (PM).
Mr Weins came to visit us for music. Some of the songs we sung were....Take your feet out of the sand and Johnny Chestnut.
In the afternoon..
We went for a community walk and played outside on the compound.
We did mindfulness and practiced square breathing.
Today in Math we created an AB pattern using scissors, glue, and some cut out papers!
Some student provided examples of these AB patterns are:

Red, orange, red, orange, red
